When will I receive payments for my orders?

You'll automatically receive payment for your orders when you have completed the order.

The amount of time it takes for you to receive the payment vary depending on the provider. If you wish to have a more exact estimate of the time, we recommend you to contact your provider.

Note: To receive payment it's necessary to have a payment service provider (psp) associated with your account. If you don't have a psp associated with your account, you can’t receive payments for your products.

How do I receive payments?

What is QuickPay?

QuickPay is a simple payment service that enables your webshop to accept and manage a wide range of payment methods incl. MobilePay. QuickPay needs to be connected to an acquirer e.g. Nets, Clearhaus or similar. Read more about QuickPay at quickpay.net

How to implement QuickPay?

If you do not already have a Quickpay account, start by creating an account at https://www.quickpay.net

When you are finished setting up your QuickPay account you can connect it to your Meeshop webshop. To connect QuickPay to Meeshop you need two API Keys , your Merchant API user - API key and a Merchant Private key.

Click on the shop you have made. Now to find your API Keys click on “Settings” and then “Integration”.

Find the keys, “PRIVATE KEY” and “API KEY”, these are the ones you need to connect your QuickPay to Meeshop.

Click on PRIVATE KEY and a code will appear.

Copy this code and now do the exact same with the API KEY.

When you have copied the two API Keys you can log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “Shop” and then “Payments”. Insert the two keys. Pay attention to which key fits where, to make sure you enter the right key in the right field

Now click “Save QuickPay data”.

Congratulations! QuickPay is now connected to your webshop and you are ready to receive payments.

How to make a single product discount

To make a discount on a specific product, go to "Products" and choose the product you want to discount. Press on the edit button.

Scroll down to "Product discount" and enter either the discount in percentage or in DKK. When entering one the other one will appear automatically.

When you have entered the amount of your choice scroll down and press "Save".

Now your product will appear with the entered discount, and your costumers will know this product is on sale.

Install Meeshop Points Club

The Meeshop Points Club gives your customers the possibility to collect points when shopping on your webshop.

The collected point can be used as a discount on future purchases.

How to implement the Meeshop Points Club integration?

To get the integration you need to go to your shop administration page.

Log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “shop” and then “Integrations”. Choose “meeshop Points Club”.

Insert the amount in percentage you want to give your customers in points. If you e.g. choose 5% your customers will get 5% in points. When they shop for 100 dkk they will collect 5 points. 1 point is equal to 1 dkk in discount.

To collect and later use their points your customers need to create and log in to a user profile when checking out.

Your customers are able to see the amount of points collected, either when they check out or under their user profile.

How to implement Facebook Pixel

When you have your Facebook Business Manager account, you are ready to create a Facebook Pixel.

Press the button in the middle of your account page to create a data source.

Then select Web and continue.

Then select Facebok-pixel and connect.

Now name your pixel and continue.

Next step is not needed. Close the tap to find your Pixel ID.

How to connect Facebook Pixel to Meeshop?

In the top left corner underneath your Business name your business ID will show. This ID is your Pixel ID which you need to connect Facebook Pixel to Meeshop.

Log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “shop” and then “Integrations” and choose Facebook Pixel.

Now enter your “Pixel ID” and click “Install integration”.

Congratulations, Facebook Pixel is now installed!

Install Meeshop Blog System

The Blog system gives you the possibility to write blogs on your website. It's a god idea to write blogs to create more SEO value (search engine optimization).

Blogs are a great way for you to create more information about your product and your brand. Blogs are a good way to brand yourself and give tips to your costumers on how to use the products.

The Meeshop Blog System is an integration. If you want to write blogs on your webshop, you need to install this integration.

How to get Meeshop Blog System integration?

To get the integration you need to go to your shop administration page.

Log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “shop” and then “Integrations”. Choose “meeshop Blog System”.

Then click “Install integration”.

The Blog System integration is now installed, and will appear to you're left at the bottom of the menu bar as “Blogs”.

Congratulations! Meeshop Blog System is now installed and you can write as many blogs for your webshop as you like.

How to create a blog?

To start creating a blog, click on “Blogs”, and then “Create New”.

Now start creating your blog by inserting all the required information.

Give your blog a title and the slug will form itself automatically based on your title.

The meta title and data are optional, if you don't fill them out they will filled out automatically.

Moving on with your blog, firstly start writing a teaser for your blog, the teaser text is going to be at the top right under the titel.

Note: The teaser field is required.

Now write your blog, you can choose different colors, size and position for your text, other than that you can add links and pictures. If you insert pictures they must be under 500 KB.

When you're done creating your blog, and if you want it published right away, click on the “published?”-button and then on “Create blog”. If you don't want your blog to be published right away, just don't click on the "published?"-button. Click "Create blog”, and you blog will be saved under blogs. New Paragraph

Congratulations! You have now created your first blog.

How to edit my blog?

All your blogs both the published and not published are stored in "Blogs". If you want to edit you blogs click on the edit (pencil) button. Edit your blog and then Click "Create blog”. New Paragraph

How to implement Dinero?

If you already have a Dinero account skip to How to connect Dinero to Meeshop.

To add Dinero's integration to Meeshop, you simply start by creating a free account at dinero.dk

Click on the right corner on “create free account”.

Then you have to fill out your email and password and accept the terms and conditions. When you have created your account, you have to connect the account to your business. If you fill out your CVR-number, you can find your business in the search bar. Here, you can click on your business and press “create firm”.

If you do not have a CVR-number, you have to choose the option “create manually” right under the search bar. Here you have to insert your information as to what type of business you are, whether you are VAT registered, and your address.

Complete your registration by inserting your financial year in your business. After you registration is completed, you will end on your “Overview” page.

At one point you will be asked about what kind of subscription you would like. “Dinero Starter” is free for an unlimited time. From here, if it becomes necessary, you can upgrade to another subscription. However, you have a chance to try “Dinero Pro” for free for the first 30 days.

Please contact Dinero support with any questions concerning to your Dinero account.

How to connect Dinero to Meeshop?

Log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration page, click on “shop” and then “Integrations”. Choose Dinero.

Press the button "Connect to Dinero", and accept the connection. The page will now show you a dropdown of all your accounts at Dinero. Choose the account you want to connect, and press "Install integration".

Congratulations, Dinero is now integrated with you Meeshop webshop! From now on, every sale in Meeshop will be registered as an invoice in Dinero, and every refund in Meeshop will be registered as a credit note by the original invoice.

Install Meeshop Free Delivery Progress bar

The free delivery progress bar tells the customer how much they have to shop for to obtain free delivery. The free delivery progress bar is only visible on the checkout-page.

How to get the Meeshop Free Delivery Progress bar integration?

To get the integration you need to go to your shop administration page.

Log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “shop” and then “Integrations”. Choose “Free Delivery”.

Enter the price your customers have to buy for, to receive free shipping e.g. 500 dkk, 1000 dkk. You can freely enter the price you want. When you are done then click “Install integration”.

Your customers are now able to see how far they are from obtaining free shipping. This free delivery progress bar is visible on the checkout-page and only as long as the total amount in the cart is below the set free shipping amount.

E.g. Free delivery on orders over 1000 DKK.

Install Meeshop Age Restriction

The Age Restriction adds a pop-up to your website asking customers to confirm if they are 18 or above. This integration is mostly aimed at webshops with sales of e.g. tobacco, alcohol or medicines.

How to get the Meeshop Age Restriction integration?

To get the integration you need to go to your shop administration page.

Log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “shop” and then “Integrations”. Choose “Age Restriction”.

Install the integration. When the integration is complete, your customers have to agree that they are 18 years old or above to enter your webshop.

How to remove the Age restriction?

To remove the age restriction, go to shop and the integrations. Choose the integration you want to remove.

Click "remove integration", now the integration is removed.

You can always install it again by following the steps in the top.

How to implement Tawk?

To use Tawk start by signing up at tawk.to

Click on “Sign Up Free” to create a free account.

You will be redirected to a page where you have to fill in your name, email and password.

Move on by clicking on “Signup for free”.

Initially choose a language. Then give your account a name and insert the link for your webshop.

Lastly you can add other team members, if you are several employees who need to use the chat system.

On the last page, you will see the following message, however, you can choose to ignore it by clicking “Done”.

When clicking “Done” you will automatically be taken to your account page.

From your dashboard in your Tawk account, click on the cogwheel in the bottom left corner.

On the right side of the page, you can see your “Property ID”.

You have to copy the “Property ID” to connect Tawk with Meeshop.

How to connect Tawk to Meeshop?

Now log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “shop” and then “Integrations”. Choose Tawk.

Install Meeshop Info Bar

The Meeshop Info Bar adds an info bar at the top of your webshop, with a custom message. The info bar will show on all pages at the top of the page. The info bar can be used to display a text message to your customers for example “Sales event 50%”. You can choose the text and color of the info bar.

How to get the Meeshop Info Bare integration?

To get the integration you need to go to your shop administration page.

Log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “shop” and then “Integrations”. Choose “Info Bar”.

Now enter the massage you want your customers to see, and choose front- and background color. When you are finished press “Install integration”.

Now your chosen colors and message will show on the top of your webshop pages.

You can at any time change the message and the font and background colors.

If you want to remove the info bar click remove integration. If you have removed the integration and want to display a message, simply reinstall the info bar integration.

Click on the button “Get Started” in the right corner of the page.

You will automatically be directed to a page where you can type in your information.

Type in your information and click on the button “Create Free Account”.

On the following page, type in your weshops URL and then press “Use this website”.Choose what you would like to use Sleeknote for. You can choose from the four categories.

Select one of the categories and then on the following page select the theme template you want. Then select a position for your campaign. Design the campaign as you like by choosing layout, editing and adding elements.

How to connect Sleeknote to Meeshop?

To connect your Sleeknote account to your Meeshop you will need to find your Sleeknote Account ID .

Click on the Sleeknote logo in the left corner, this will bring you to the menu page.

Select “tracking code”.

Then go to the box “Implement on Your Website” and copy the five digit number.

Now you can log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “shop” at the bottom of the menu bar in the left corner, and then “Integrations”. Choose Sleeknote.

Now insert the five digit tracking code and click “Install integration”.

Congratulations, Sleeknote is now installed!

How to implement Google Analytics?

Go to Google Analytics website. Follow this link to start setting up your free account.

Firstly you have to choose the name of your Google Analytics account.

Next insert property details.

Choose a property name and change time zone and currency if needed. We suggest using your business/shop name as your property name.

Select the size of your business and what you want to measure. Then press “create”. You can always change these settings later.

When you are done filling out all the information, you have to accept the terms and conditions.

Now you are automatically taken to your overview page. You have almost finished creating your analytics account.

Now press “Web”.

Now you have to insert your websites name and a web address afterwards press “Create stream”.

When you paste your web address, be aware that it already says “http://”, don't include that part of your web address otherwise it will say: http://

How to connect Google Analytics with Meeshop?

Now you have created your Google Analytics account. To connect this to Meeshop, you’ll need a “Tracking ID”.

Your Measurement ID showing on the page is the same as your Tracking ID.

If you encounter any problems finding your Tracking ID you can always find it by using the search function.

When you have your Tracing ID (Measurement ID), log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “shop” and then “Integrations”.

Choose Google Analytics.

Insert your “Tracking ID” and click “Install Integration”.

Congratulations, Google Analytics is now installed! From now on you’ll get lots of data to work with.

How to get the Meeshop Password Protect integration?

To get the integration you need to go to your shop administration page.

Log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “shop” and then “Integrations”. Choose “Password Protect”.

Enter the password you want to use for the webshop and then click “Install integration”.

Now when anyone visits your webshop, they will be presented with the following. "The page is password protected".

Facebook live chat is a quick and easy solution which offers a faster communication between seller and buyer. It will help you avoid a huge amount of customer service through the phone, because you will support your customers via messenger on your website.

Some things you should know before you begin:

If you want to follow this guide it is important that you choose “Danish” as your language, otherwise this guide will not make sense. If you don’t want your Facebook Business account to be in Danish, we recommend you contact Facebook's own support.

How to implement Facebook live chat?

To add Facebook live chat’s integration to Meeshop, you simply start by creating a facebook account for your business (Facebook Business account). https://business.facebook.com

Click on the right corner on “Create account”.

Then start creating your Business Manager account. Fill in your business name (write your webshop's public name as this is going to be public on Facebook), then add your name and finally your business mail and then at the bottom press “submit”.

Now you have created your account, and have to connect the account to Facebook live chat. Press “Settings”.

Then you will be directed to “Side settings”, here click on “Messages”.

Then under “Add messenger to your website” click on “get started”.

Now move on by clicking "Next" in the bottom right corner.

Firstly ch oose your language and then your greeting.

Lastly click ON to "guest chat". Then move on by clicking "Next" in the bottom right corner.

Just move on from the next page. You don’t have to choose your color in this program, you will just do it in Meeshop.

Move on by clicking “Next" in the bottom right corner.

Now you are almost ready to connect the integration to your Meeshop account.

Add your website name/ domain under “Website domain”. Then be sure that “I add the code to my website myself" is chosen under “Installer code”.

Scroll down in box with the code to the left, at the bottom you will find your page-id, which you will need to add this integration to Meeshop.

How to connect Facebook Live Chat to Meeshop?

Start copying your webshop's domain name. Go to your webshop and copy paste your domain. Paste your domain as it is under website domain and press save.

Now copy the code (numbers after page-id).

Now log into your Meeshop account and go to your shop administration, click on “shop” at the bottom of the menu bar in the left corner, and then “Integrations”.

Choose Facebook live chat and now choose your Logged in Greeting and insert your Page-ID and select a color. Then click “Install integration.”

Congratulations, Facebook Live chat is now installed! From now on, you can easily communicate with your customers through Messenger.

How to change order confirmation email?

You will automatically have an order confirmation email. If you wish to change it you need to contact our support kontakt@meeshop.dk.

You will automatically have a current "from" email. This email is connected to your order confirmations. When your costumers receive their order confirmation the email is sent from your current "from" email. If your costumers reply to the email they will reply to the email you have added in your shop info.

Why change your order confirmation email?

The current "from" email will be something like E.g myshopname@meeshop.dk, if you don't want '@meeshop.dk' to be part of your email, you need contact us at kontakt@meeshop.dk

If you want to see how your current order confirmation email looks you need to go to "Shop" and then "Domain".

The shop email address is the email that will be shown in all communication to your costumers.

I can’t complete an order what do I do?

Please contact you payment provider if you encounter problems with completing orders.

If you have recently integrated Quickpay and set up a payment provider agreement. It can take some time before your payment provider agreement goes through and is ready to use.

Another common isssus with completing orders are offen associated with exceeding the payment providers time limit.

This means the reason you can't complete an order is propperly because you have exceed the time limit of completing orders.

The different payment providers have different time limits.

With Stripe as your payment provider you have 7 days to complete and order. If you exceed this time you won't be able to complete the order.

With Quickpay as your payment provider you have 30 days to complete an order. If you exceed this time you won't be able to complete the order.

How do I add different credit cards?

Different payment methods are included with your chosen payment solution.

If you don't have a payment solution, start by creating one. If you need help follow this guide.

Go to your payment solutions website to view information regarding which payment methods are included, and which are not.

You can trough your payment provider account see which kinds of payment they include and which you can get.

If you encounter any problems or if you need help, we recommend you to contact your payment provider.

Payment logos in your footer.

The payment logos in your footer show your costumers what kind of payment methods you accept on your webshop. Select which logos you want to display by clicking the checkmark next to the logo.

NOTE: The logos are only visual material. Clicking on the logos dosen't not mean you support the payment method. It's important only to click on the logos that are equivalent to the payment methods your webshop supports.

Can I change the payment logos in my footer?

Changing payment logos

If you wan't to change the payment logos in your footer, go to your payment by clicking on "Shop" and then "Payments".

Now you can see which logos you have in your footer. If you wish to change them just click on the ones you want and make sure there is a tick next to the ones you want.

In the same way with the logis you don't want any more, make sure there is no tick next to them.

The logos who have a tick next to them, are the ones you will be able to see on your webshop.

When you have edited the logos press "Save Payment logos", now you have updated you logos on your webshop. If you want to see how it looks, just press "Go to shop" in the top of the page.

Is there a time limit on completing an order?

The time limit regarding completing orders depends on your payment provider.

Depending on wether you have selected Stripe og QuickPay as your payment provider the time limit varies.

If you need help to set up Stripe or QuickPay follow this guide.

Stripe has a time limit of 7 days, meaning you have to complete an order within 7 days. If you exceed this time you won't be able to complete the order.

QuickPay has a time limit of 30 days, meaning you have to complete an order within 30 days. If you exceed this time you won't be able to complete the order.

If you don't comply to the time limit you will possibly encounter problems with completing orders.

Please contact you payment provider if you encounter problems with completing orders.

How to cancel orders?

If you want to cancel an order you need to change its status. To change your order status click on the view button (the eye under “Action”) based on the order you want to change.

You now have three possibilities. Packing - Cancel - Complete.

If you want to cancel an order, press the cancel-button and the order will no longer be pending.

The order will now appear as canceled.

Please note: the status of a cancelled order cannot be changed.

How to add carriers?

Shipping lets you add shipping Methods to your webshop. You can add any number of shipping methods you want.

If you don't add any shipping methods, your customers will not be able to choose a delivery method at checkout.

Adding different carriers to your webshop.

From your shop administration page press “Shop” and then “Shipping”.

There might already be some delivery options, but you can always add more and delete.

To add a new shipping method press “Add Method”.

Now you have to enter your shipping method information. Start by naming the carrier you want to use (e.g. DHL, DAO, Postnord, GLS, Bring etc.).

Then add description (e.g. To the door, To drop point etc.) What you enter here is what your customer will see and be able to select on your website at check out.

The next step called "Method calculation type" is very important , you can either base your shipping method on weight or on cart total. If you base your method on weight it’s very important that all your products for sale contain this information. If you base your shipping on the cart total the weight will not be necessary.

When you are finished click “Add Method”.

Now you have created a method and choose a carrier.

You can add as many carriers as you want.

To add shipping fees to your methods you need to edit it by clicking on the pencil (edit).

How to set up free shipping?

If you want to set up free shipping, you need to start by making a shipping method.

If you need help creating shipping methods follow this introduction guide.

The rules you're making only apply to the method being edited.

Create free shipping

Free shipping is created automatically.

Your shipping will automatically be free, when you for example add methods without rules. You can for example add a method called "Pick up at location" by not adding rules, this shipping method will automatically be free.

If you have a method with rules, your costumers will still be able to get free shipping, when a costumer exceeds the price or weight of your added rules, they will get free shipping.

Your costumes will automatically get free shipping by clicking on shipping methods with no rules or exceed the rules you have made for the shipping methods.

How to create a refund?

If you want to refund an order, go to your orders and click on the specific order that needs to be refunded.

In the top bar click on the refund bottom.

A window will appear, insert the refund amount (please note: the amount must be a whole number in DKK, and the amount can't exceed the orders total amount).

Now click on the refund button.

Your costumer will now receive their refund.

How does the search function work on my webshop?

The search function is very important for you and your costumers. The function makes it easier for your costumers to find products on your webshop. By using the search function your costumers can find what they are looking for with just one click.

It's important that you give your products tags so they are searchable. Tags are words associated with the product.

Choose tags that help your costumers find specific products.

Tags to a product could be: product name, brand name, material, color etc.

To add tags to your product go to "Products".

Choose the product you want to add tags to and press the edit (pencil) button.

Now scroll down until "Product tags" the product tag is optional, but if you don't write tags, your product won't be searchable.

Start writing tags in the "Add tags" box.

Add a tag by typing in a word and pressing enter. The words will turn green, when they are tagged. If you want to delete a tag, just press on the little cross next to the word.

You do not need to add tag words that are already used in the title of the product. The search function is also set, so a word can be misspelled by 3 letters. This also means you do not need to add variations of your tag words e.g. toy and toys. You only need to add the word toy.

Remember to scroll down and press "Save", when you are finished.

Now your tags have been saved and your products will show when a customer type the words into the search bar.

NOTE : The tags only apply to the product you are editing, you need to add tags to all your products, if you want them to be searchable.

What are price prefix and price suffix?

The price prefix and suffix is the indicated currency located next to the price.

Prefix and suffix are different and indicate if the currency should be placed in front or behind the price.

Prefix is in front e.g. "kr. 200" and Suffix is behind e.g. "200 kr."

By default the suffix is filled out, either leave it or change it to prefix if you prefer that.

Note you have to enter a space after a prefix or before a suffix, otherwise the price and the pre- or suffix will be shown without space (e.g. "kr.200" / "200kr".)

ATTENTION: Don't fill out both pre- and suffix (e.g. "kr. 200 kr.")

Go to "Shop" and then "General" scroll down to Currency to add or change your prefix or suffix.

The choosen method (either prefix or suffix) applies to all your products.

How to add a shipping price?

Start by adding a payment method, if you don't already have a payment method follow this guide.

Add price.

When you have created a payment method, you can now add a price by editing your shipping method. Click on the pencil (edit) based on the method you want to edit.

Now you can add rules to the specific method. Click “Add new rule”. Rules are used to differentiate your shipping prices for the given method, either depending on the cart weight total or cart total.

Rules only apply to the method being edited.

Now insert the price based on either cart total or weight. Enter a "from cart total" and a "To cart total" and choose the price. e.g. 0 - 499 (price 50 DKK).

This is just one rule, you can always make more rules, and different rules to your different methods.

How to change a shipping price?

If you wish to change your price (rule) click on the edit button (pencil).

Now insert the changes and then click "Save rule". Your changes will now be updated.

Introduction to categories

When you add categories to your webshop it helps telling the system in which category the product belongs without necessarily making any design changes to the webshop. Typically, categories will be the names in the menu on your webshop, but given that in essence it is just a link, it can theoretically be put anywhere on the website.

The overview-page looks like this:

How to add a new category?

If you click on the ‘Create New’-button in the top right corner of the categories overview.

From here, you can add the following things: Name, slug, description, subcategory, meta data.

Name:

Not optional. Start by giving your category a name, at the same time your slug (the text shown in your URL) will be created automatically. The slug will look very similar to the name of your product, but you can change it manually, if you want to.

Slugs are only allowed to have lower case letters from a-z and spaces between words have to be substituted for dashes.

Description:

Optional. The category description will be shown on the category page.

Publish:

The publish option is default so the system will automatically choose this option. If you don't want to publish your category right away, you just click on the automatic button to deactivate the default setting. If you publish your category you will still be able to edit it.

Subcategory:

Non optional. If you want to make a subcategory, you firstly need to make an ordinary category.

If the created category is a subcategory to another category, select between one of the other categories you have made. If it’s not a subcategory just let the automatically chosen option “Not a subcategory” be.

Meta data:

Optional. Meta data is primarily used for SEO (search engine optimization), writing specific buzz words or sentences you wish to use so potential customers have an easier time finding your webshop.

Create Category:

When you are done filling out all the information, click “Create Category”. This saves and creates the category.

How to delete a category?

Click on the edit button based on the category you want to edit.

Then on the category edit page click “delete category”.

Your category has now been deleted and will no longer show on your category page.

Introduction to dashboard

Your dashboard gives you an overview of the steps that are essential to go through before you publish your webshop. There are 8 steps in total. We recommend following the steps in order from 1-8.

'Create your webshop' is not counting as a step, because you have already done this. Afterwords you need to follow the next steps one by one. Start by 'creating general settings' and then move on. There will be a short description to every step, so you know what the step entails.

Press the arrow to the right on the various steps to see a short description. There is also a button that will take you directly to where you can execute the step.

Once you have finished a step it will turn green. Even if the step is marked as finished it's always possible to go back and make changes.

When you are finished and satisfied with your result, you can go to the last step and activate your membership. Under the 8th step “Active membership” you’ll be directed to the billig. Once you have subscribed your membership will be activated and your webshop will be live, now customers are able to shop your products.

When you have finished all the steps, you dashboard will then look like this:
It will show you the status for your pening orders, orders today, live products and active subscriptions.

Introduction to economy

Economy is the place where all your completed orders will be gathered.

This page gives you an overview of your economy by aggregating your total number of sold products and you're total earnings in DKK.

On this page you’ll get an overview of all your orders, both completed, created and canceled orders.

Other than this you’ll be able to see a list of completed orders and their different payment methods.

To see your orders for a specific period of time just insert the data in the top, or else click one of the “Presets” that offers already entered time periods.

Please notice that your payment provider will give you a more complete overview of your economy as they will take their transactions fees into consideration.

If you do not add any shipping methods, your customers will not be able to choose a delivery method at checkout.

Shipping based on weight

If you base your method on weight it’s VERY important that all your products contain this information. Weight is NOT needed if you base your shipping on cart total.

When you have chosen "Based on weight" click “Add Method”.

You have now created a method based on cart total.

Form here you can edit your shipping method by clicking on the pencil (edit) based on the method you want to edit.

Moving on you can add rules to the specific method. Click “Add new rule”. Rules are used to differentiate your shipping prices for the given method, either depending on the cart weight or cart total.

When you create a rule, you need to insert a "From Weight" and a "To Weight" and then a price for this.
E.g. from 0 grams to 500 grams costs 45 dkk.

When you are done click "Add rule".

You can make as many rules as you like, as long as they don't overlap. E.g. next rule begin at 501 grams.

Note: if the cart total does not match any rule, the default price is 0 kr. E.g. if you only have one rule that goes from "0 grams" to "500 grams" and the cart total is above 500 grams the shipping price displayed will be 0 kr.

The overview of your account show your accounts current status. Your account status will either be unpublished or published. When you subscribe under billing your webshop will be published and your status on this page will change.

It is also here you can delete your account. Deleting your account will also delete your webshop. Once an account has been deleted it cannot be recovered.

Discount code is an opportunity for you to give your costumers a discount on your products. Discount codes are often seen in connection with sales events e.g. holidays, vacations, special anniversary, months etc.

Discounts are a good way to attract costumers to your webshop.

You have to create the discount code yourself, in that way you can choose exactly the name, amount and time it you want it to be available.

How to create a discount code?

If you want to create a discount code e.g. for Black Friday, Christmas, New Years, January sale, etc. Click on “Create New” or “create one now!” To create a discount code your customers can use on your web-shop.

To create a new discount code you need to choose the start and end date, that determines the period within the code will be active. Then select the percentage you want to give as a discount and add a name for your code. You can choose if the code should be available multiple times per user.

How to delete a discount code?

To delete your created discount code, just click on the trash can.

It is necessary to have a payment service provider (psp) associated with your account. If you do not have a psp associated with your account, you can’t receive payments for your products.

Once you have selected and completed the payment method your webshop will be ready to receive payments for your products.

What are products?

Products are the things you wish to sell on your webshop. There is no limit to the amount of products you have in your webshop. Products can be arranged using product categories. Product categories determine how the products are shown on your webshop.

When you create a product you can choose to publish it right away or choose to do it later. You can publish or publish a product anytime you want.

The product info page gives you information about the price, number in stock and a sales history.

Adding a product description not only helps your customers choose the right product but it also adds SEO value.

It’s important to create all your products, in that way your customers can see them on your live webshop.

If you need help creating a product follow the steps below.

Overview of your product page.

In the overview section, you will find a number of different informations.

Firstly you will see the quantity of products in your webshop. You can see how many of your products are out of stock and how many of them are unpublished (meaning they are only visible in your backend and not yet visible on your webshop).

Secondly, you will see the product-ID, the product name, what date the product was added and the current status (available/not available).

Lastly, you have the opportunity to either view, edit or create a product.

The overview-page looks like this:

Click on the edit button (the pencil), this will take you to the product editing page. From here you are able to edit or add any information you want.

How to add a new product?

To create a new product click on the ‘Create New’-button in the top right corner of the product overview, now you will enter a page called "Add product".

From here, you can add the following things: Product info, Stock management, Images, Categories, Fields, Grouping, Variant, Tags, Discount and Metadata.

Product info

Not optional. Start by adding a name for your product.

The slug is the text shown in your URL. It will be created automatically when you add your product name. The slug will look very similar to the name of your product. It’s important, if you have two similar products, that the slugs are different from each other. You can’t have two products with the same slug. The slug is the product's identification therefore every product needs its own unique slug. If you have two identical products (e.g. add 1, 2, 3 after the slug).

(Slugs are only allowed to have lower case letters from a-z and spaces between words have to be substituted for dashes.) You can change the slug manually, if you want to.

Now you have the possibility to write a short or/and long product description. The short description will be shown next to the main image just under the price. The long description will be shown below the picture. Add a price. Add a weight (if needed).

As a default your product will be published when you press the save button at the bottom of the page. If you don't wish your product to be visible in your webshop, you need to click ‘Published?’ to turn it off (turns red). Now you can leave your product be for further editing. The product will then appear in your backend for future use but will not show on your webshop yet. A published product also can still be edited.

Stock management

Not optional.

Stock management helps you keep track of your inventory. It will also show your customers when the stock number is below 10.

With stock management, you have two options:

You can either set it to automatic or manual (right button).

The automatic setting is the default. All you have to do is enter the amount of products you currently have in stock, and everytime you make a sale, the number will automatically decrease equal to the amount sold.

If you wish to set the stock manually, you have to click the automatic button on the left to deactivate the default setting (“enable automatic stock” turns red and “in stock” turns green). After this, you can click the button on the right to choose if the product is in stock or not. With the manual option, you don’t have to enter the number of products in stock. Please note that if the stock number is set from 1-9 the number will show up on the product page as “Only x left!” with the current number. Leave the stock number field empty if you don’t wish to display the before mentioned “Only x left!”.

Product images

Not optional.

‘Featured image’ is the primary image shown on the webshop. ‘Additional images’ (optional) are the extra images. Click on the pluses to upload new images. If possible, only use square images, as these look the best. Images will automatically be downscaled or upscaled to 1000x1000 pixel, so try to avoid images with a lower resolution than this, as upscaled pictures can look blurry.

Product categories

Not optional.

Before you can add your product to a category, you first have to create the category or subcategory (follow this link to our category guide). Your category/categories will appear under ‘Product categories’, just select the category you want to add your product to. If the product is part of a subcategory, first select the main category and then the subcategory from the dropdown.

Product fields

Optional.

Product fields are used if you wish to add extra information about your product. Start by giving your field a name (e.g. ‘country of origin’) and then add the value (e.g. ‘Denmark’). Fields will be shown below the product-images under ‘More information’. Product fields are a great way to display technical data about your product.

Product grouping

Optional.

Put a number of chosen products ‘together’. When you click on a product and enter the product page, you will see the other products that belong to the product's grouping.

Product variant

Optional.

Product variants allow you to add variants to your products, eg. color, size or something similar. Add the variant under “option” and press enter and then the values (e.g. S/M/L or red/blue/white). To add a value, write the value and click enter (to lock it) between the different values. If you wish to add multiple variants, click “Add variant option” and repeat the process. When you have added the needed variants, click “Generate variants”. This allows you to enter price and stock for each variant of the product.

The price you set earlier will be the one showing on the webshop’s product listing page. If you change the prices for each variant, the main price will still be shown on the product listing page, but as you click on different variants on the product page, the specific prices will change accordingly.

If you have chosen automatic stock management for the product, the total stock will be calculated based on the stock for each variant. As long as you have 1 or more products in stock (across all variants), the product will be shown as ‘in stock’ in the product listing page. However, if specific variants are sold out, this will be shown on the product page.

If you have chosen manual stock, the product will be shown as long as there are 1 or more products in stock.

Be aware: For a variant to be shown as out of stock, you manually have to change it.

Product tag

Optional.

Product tags are used for the search option on your webshop. If a customer uses the search function a given product will only show on if the tag matches the search. For example if a customer enters the word “t-shirt” in the search field it will show all products with a matching tag or product name. The product name will automatically be searchable.

Product discount

Optional.

You can either create a discount based on a percentage or on a specific amount of dkk. If you enter the discount in percentage, the discount in dkk will automatically be generated and vice versa. If you wish to limit the discount to a specific period, press ‘Create discount campaign’ and choose date-range and price. This can only be done when you have saved the product and then afterwards edit it.

Meta data

Optional.

Meta data is primarily used for SEO (search engine optimization), write specific buzz words or sentences you wish to use so potential customers have an easier time finding your webshop and products via search engines

Save your product

When you are done filling out all the information, click “save”. This saves the product.

By default the product will also be published when you press save. If you do not wish to publish the product right away you have to click the “published?” button under product info at the top of the page.

You can always edit/update any given product at any given time.

How do I delete a product?

Click on the edit button (pencil) on the product you want to delete.

At the top of the product page “delete”. Your product has now been deleted and will no longer show on your products page or on your webshop. Please note that there is no way to recover the product after it has been deleted.

Costumers are the ones visiting and buying the product on your webshop.

Your costumers have the opportunity to create a profile on your webshop, either before they complete a purchase or durring check out.

The costumers profile will provide you with several information about them. Your costumers can also see and overview their purchases and the status of each i.e. packing, completed.

NOTE: Costumers don't need to have a profile to visit or buy your products.

Overview of your customers.

The overview of your customers will both show the registered customers and the non registered customers and their personal information.

The registered customers have a profile you can view by clicking on the button (eye). By clicking the view button you can see information about the specific customer. Here you can see their contact information and order information. Under your customer’s profile you can also see how many points they have saved if you are using the Meeshop Points Club integration.

Your customers will always be able to change their personal information on their profile.

Billing is where you activate your Meeshop subscription. When you subscribe to Meeshop you also activate/publish your shop. We recommend waiting to subscribe and activating your shop until you are done with your webshop.

You have 30 days free trial from the day you create your Meeshop account.

As long as your subscription isn't activated your webshop will be inactive/unpublished.

Once you have subscribed your subscription status will change from inactive too active.

Introduction to meeshop > Domain names

Domain is the name you have bought for your webshop e.g. www.yourwebshopname.dk

At the domain setting you’ll see your current domain name. To add the your domain name, you need to send an email to kontakt@meeshop.dk, with your domain name and wait for our support’s response.

BE AWARE! If you change your domain name before contacting us, you can no longer preview your webshop.

You will automatically have a current "from" email. This email is connected to your order confirmations. When your costumers receive their order confirmation the email it's sent from your current "from" email. If your costumers reply to the email they will reply to the email you have added in your shop info.

The current "from" email will be someting like e.g something@meeshop.dk, if you don't want '@meeshop.dk' to be part of your email, you need to change your email address. Change your email address by contacting us at kontakt@meeshop.dk

You can see your current "from" email in middle of the button side.

Once a customer has bought one or more of your products, they have made an order, and at the same time you have made a sale.

On your orders overview page you can see all of your orders and their status.

The page will give you an overview of the number of orders you have. Here you can see an overview of your orders with the following information: the customer's names, the total value of each order and the orders status.

A new order will have the status of Pending. You can change the status to either Packing or Completed. Your customers can see the status of their orders in their account.

Pending - before you accept the order.

Packing - when you are packing the order. Helps you keep track of your own orders and shows your customers that you are packing the order.

Completed - when your order is complete. Once you complete an order, a confirmation email will be sent to your customer and the funds will be withdrawn for your customer's account.

How to manage your orders?

To change your order status click on the view button on the right (the eye under “Action”)

You have the possibility to change the status of your order. The order will show the customer's billing address and the shipping address. The packing status is mostly for you, the customers can only see their orders as packing if they log in to their account (for this they need to have an account). Otherwise you can click complete when the order is finished and has been shipped to its buyer.

The order will now be shown as complete.
